Warner Bros Extends BPO Contract [Capgemini's Ability & Promises Made - A Great Year for HRO!]

Warner Bros has affirmed its faith in Capgemini’s ability to deliver on its promises by extending our current FAO contract. The new deal provides for scope expansion and a contract extension worth an incremental $79.5M USD (about €59.3 million) over the total life of the contract. The contract has been extended by a little over 3 years and will now run till 2017-end. The addition in scope is across three major towers (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay.) We are likely to add approximately 170 FTEs, taking the total to just under 400 staff serving the account. The work will be delivered from our global delivery centers in Poland, India, China and Guatemala.


Capgemini Acquires OTC Business from Vengroff, Williams and Associates

Capgemini has acquired Vengroff, Williams and Associates' Order-to-Cash business, known as 'VWA'. The move will boost our OTC capabilities while VWA will benefit from Capgemini’s global scale and reach. We will also welcome 300+ VWA employees across the US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain and Italy.

BPO CEO Hubert Giraud says, "I am very pleased to welcome the 300+ VWA people that will join Capgemini, led by Robert ‘Bob’ G. Williams, formerly CEO and Chairman, VWA. Bob will head our new OTC service within the FAO Service Line under Christopher Stancombe."

A Great Year for HRO!

The Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO)  team was set up in 2006 and initially provided sourcing support for Capgemini NA. The team was 15-strong and operated out of Kolkata. The team has now grown to 250+ members, with 200+ employees in India and 50+ employees in Krakow. The India team serves Capgemini regions like NA and UK while the Poland team provides HR services to BPO, France and Germany and other non-native English speaking countries.  HRO provides a range of support services like recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, payroll to internal units like Capgemini Group HR, Capgemini North America (NA) and Capgemini UK.
The team has had a successful 2011, supporting key Group and BPO initiatives like the roll-out of MyPath and MyLearning.
