I think the baby looks like Aishwarya

A week after she delivered a baby girl, actress Aishwarya Rai was discharged from a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday. As soon as she and her family reached home, the Bachchans called a press conference at their office ABC Corp in Juhu, a western suburb.


Amitabh thanked the media for giving them their privacy. He said "You all had promised that you will stay away and you all did that, my family is grateful to you all. It was a very private moment for the family."


Amitabh added, "Today we bought betiya home we are all very happy with this, hamare ghar Laxmi aayi hai, Abhishek, Aishwarya and betiya all are well and in good health, life changes when a new life comes to your house. I would say Laxmi Ratna has arrived in our house'.


The Beti B was first taken to their old house Pratiksha. "There is blessing from my parents and everybody in my family, so we first went to Pratiksha because that is our first home after taking blessing from my ma, babuji (Amitabh's parents) we have come to Jalsa'," Amitabh said


Asked if they has taken the child to a temple, Abhishek replied  'We have a small mandir in our house (Pratiksha) build by my grandfather and that was the first place we took her."


When asked how the child looks, Amitabh said 'I think the child looks like Aishwarya but you all know that a child's face changes every day, but I still want to believe that she has Aishwarya's face but few people in house believe that there is some resemblance with Abhishek."


When as how being a parent has changed him, Abhishek said, 'It is not even been a week, so there hasn't been any changes, it is a blessing and it is a wonderful and we are just enjoying the moment right now."


He further added, "I don't think there has been any change, being the person that I am I think if I be half a good a father to my daughter as my father has been to my sister and myself I will be happy." Read more
